Dr Devesh Kaushal is a specialist in
Gastrointestinal and General Surgery and a fellow of the Royal Australian College
of Surgeons. He is fully recognised by the Gastroenterological Society of
Australia (GESA) for adult gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr Kaushal has extensive experience in
upper Gastrointestinal conditions. He received his specialist training in two
high volume hospitals – Prince of Wales Hospital and Bankstown Hospital. In the UK he trained in a high volume
oesophageal gastric centre.
Dr Devesh Kaushal specialises in minimally
invasive surgery and is interested in bariatrics, laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic
gall bladder operations and endoscopy procedures including balloon dilatation,
stent insertion and EMR (Endoscopic Mucosal Resection) .
Dr Kaushal has a strong research
background. He has many national and international presentations to his name.
Also, he has won an award for best presentation in Milan.
Dr Devesh Kaushal has a keen interest in
educating others and has been an appointed clinical tutor at The University of
Newcastle and is currently teaching at Western Sydney University.
Dr Devesh Kaushal is a Staff Specialist at
Campbelltown Public Hospital and has private appointments at Campbelltown
Private Hospital and Sydney South West Private Hospital
Dr Kaushal is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
